When dreaming about the upcoming train trip, I spent a lot of time thinking about the activities we'd do on the train. In my opinion, no trip is complete without an art project. I know this may be odd – most people enjoy relaxing on trips – but I prefer to always be making something, and trips are a really special place to do this.
And, as I thought about the epic route we'd be taking (Atlanta to Chicago to Arizona to California to Atlanta) I also wanted to create a keepsake t-shirt for us all.
Our Souvenir Tee was just the ticket to combine both dreams. Not only was it the perfect trip craft, but it is also the sweetest souvenir of an unforgettable experience. We brought the prototypes with us and we spent an afternoon drawing on our tees in the observation car as we rode through the plains and deserts – an amazing number of curious fellow passengers stopping to look, and share their own incredible travel stories.

The chunky and irregular US map is printed in a deep sea green shade on a classic vintage style ringer tee in white and red. Each tee is screen printed in Athens, GA on a perfect cotton shirt made in Mexico.
